Dates for School Terms and Holidays

Bristol Ballet School Year​​
Our dance school runs from early September to mid or late July of the following year. Most English schools operate a three term school year,. As much as possible we try to coincide with local state schools in Bristol. Private schools and academies may be different. ​
​
TERM 1 - Autumn Term runs from early September to mid December (half term falls in late October). ​​
​
TERM 2 - Spring Term runs from early January to April. (half term falls in mid February). ​​
​
TERM 3 Summer Term runs from April to mid July (half term falls in late May or early June).
​​​
The School does not hold recreational dance lessons on Bank Holidays or during School Holidays.​
​
Winter/Spring Term Dates 2026
Here are the dates for the upcoming Winter/Spring Term at Bristol Ballet School. Please note that there may be a few adjustments that need to be made throughout thIs term to accommodate the Royal Academy Of Dance Ballet exams held in March.
- Term Start Date: January 5, 2026 (Monday)
- Half Term Break: February 16 – February 22, 2026 (No classes during this week).
- Classes Resume After Half Term: February 23, 2026 (Monday)
- Term End Date: April 2, 2026 (Thursday)
Dates Classes Will Not Be Held:
- Half Term Break:February 16 – February 22, 2026
- Easter Holidays: April 3 – April 19, 2026 (No classes until the next term)
- Bank Holidays:
- January 1, 2026 (New Year’s Day)
- March 25, 2026 (Easter Monday)​​
Royal Academy Of Dance 2025 Exam Session Sunday, March 15th - Monday, March 30th, 2026 Dates to be confirmed on submission.
Summer Term 3
Commencement: Monday, April 20, 2026
Conclusion: Saturday, July 18, 2026 (This will be another regular dance day)
Bank Holiday: Monday, May 4, 2026
Regular Dance Day: Saturday, May 23, 2026
Half Term Break: From Sunday, May 24 to Friday, May 29, 2026

We offer a 10% discount for siblings and 10% discount for two or more lessons attended per week.
